i am so close to the coast i can smell the salt in the air. tonight we move even closer. room with a balcony and i am sold. i love it out here. where? right now, i am in delaware, soon to be maryland, soon to be lancaster, pa, used to be philly, before that chicago.

i am moving over this great country like a shadow, and only a few even know where i have been, and ever fewer where i am. but i can smell the salt in the air, and i am happy. back out on the lonely coast, on a stranger's computer in a huge house whose owners i have yet to meet, alone in this room on this coast- but this time, surrounded by old friends of the wind and waves.
