there is a quiet joy in an empty house. in a set of rooms all darkened but your own and no sounds but your own music, your own television show that you left on downstairs, and the hum of your laptop. there's a freedom to stretch out on all three floors or to curl up on the couch and watch mindless entertainment channel shows without complaint or comment. i love it i love it. but if you asked id share it. we could dance upstairs to loud music, we could cook food and leave the dishes out for hours. we could fight over the remote but agree on the channel. sing at the tops our our lungs. or just curl up in my bed and go to sleep. id love it id love it.
