it starts today, i suppose. i guess it ends too, for good. nobody with love waiting on her doorstep wants the past on their porch. rightly so. so i will turn off the porch light, you'll embrace, and i will keep carving dates, with less purpose now, in the park bench where i sit all year, waiting for summer to come for real one day. and you wont come... i wont expect you anymore.
